Sokol New York, a unit of the American Sokol Organization, was founded in 1867. A non-profit organization that guides members through life, in the areas of physical health. This goal is pursued through physical fitness programs as well as various cultural and social activities. Sokol New York is also committed to sharing the legacy of Czech and Slovak immigrants to the United States.
